Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to clients in their homes or care settings
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication prompts
- Support individuals with mobility, wellbeing activities, and companionship
- Maintain accurate care records in line with organisational and compliance standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team
- Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and equality policies at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in care is an advantage but not essential — full training is provided
- A caring, compassionate, and patient approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Flexibility with shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends)
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Medication training
- Moving & Handling certificate
- First Aid training
